Chef Mimi — Support

Chef Mimi is a hands-free, voice-first cooking assistant. Hold the button, ask what you want to cook, and she talks you through it step by step.

Getting started

Allow microphone and speech recognition when first asked — Mimi needs them to hear you.
Speak in English, then pause; Mimi replies when you finish talking.
An internet connection is required so Mimi can think of recipes and answers.

Mimi isn't responding. Check that you have an internet connection and that microphone + speech access are enabled in iOS Settings → Chef Mimi.

She can't hear me. Reduce background noise and speak toward the phone. Mimi listens in English only.
