RepUp is a home-workout app that counts your reps with the camera, wakes you with move-to-dismiss alarms, blocks distracting apps until you train, and tracks your rank, XP and streaks. This policy explains what data the app handles and how. We keep it minimal: most of your data stays on your device or in your own iCloud account — we don't run our own servers that store your personal data.
RepUp uses the camera only to count your reps. Video is analyzed live on your device using Apple's on-device Vision framework. Frames are never recorded, saved, or sent anywhere — nothing from the camera leaves your phone.
Your workout history, reps, calories, streaks, rank/XP, the body details you enter (age, height, weight, sex), and your display name are stored on your device and synced to your private iCloud account (Apple CloudKit). We can't read your private iCloud data.
If you choose to join the leaderboard, your display name, avatar symbol, rank and XP become visible to other RepUp users. This is opt-in — if you don't join, none of this is shared. You pick your own display name; you don't have to use your real name.
The apps you choose to block are handled by Apple's Screen Time (Family Controls). Those selections stay on your device and are never shared with us or anyone else.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple and managed through RevenueCat, our subscription provider. We receive your subscription status and an anonymous ID — we never see or store your payment card details. RevenueCat may process a device identifier, device type and OS version to manage your subscription. See RevenueCat's privacy policy and Apple's privacy policy.
Your data lives on your device and in your iCloud. To delete it, delete the app and remove its data from iCloud settings. To remove your public leaderboard entry, contact us at the email below.
RepUp is not directed to children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their data.
We may update this policy; we'll revise the date above when we do.
